Community Grants
Any properly constituted Houghton based group or organisation which provides facilities and/or services to a significant proportion of Houghton residents may apply for a grant from the Parish Council.
Grant applications will be considered only upon completion of a Grant Aid application form which is available from the Clerk or by clicking on the link below. All questions on the application form must be answered in full. Applicants may provide additional information in support of their claim if they wish.
All Grant applications MUST be received by the Clerk no later than 1st October for inclusion in the following year's budget. Any grant application received after this date will NOT be considered by the Parish Council. The Grants Policy is available on the website (see link below).

Community Event Fund
Any funding application must be for costs associated with an event (e.g. community celebration, community activity start-ups) which will involve and bring direct benefit to a significant proportion of Houghton residents. The applicant for any event must have a clearly defined aim, schedule and budget. All applications must clearly demonstrate how this will be achieved
