Halls for Hire

A project to replace the pavilion had been in progress for nearly five years. Houghton Field Association (HFA) had secured significant funding from Harborough District Council s106 funds and the UK Community Ownership Fund (COF). However, costs had escalated so much over the last few years that additional funding was required. In July 2024, HFA submitted an application to the Football Foundation for the final tranche of money to meet the budget. In November 2024, HFA was notified that the bid had been successful. HFA set a provisional start date of 24 February 2025.

Houghton Village Hall is available for hire for both private and commercial purposes.

Houghton Methodist Church Schoolroom in Main Street is available for hire. The charge is £6 per hour and £30 for a complete day. There are facilities for making drinks although there is not the requisite licences for food preparation etc. No alcohol is allowed.
