Neighbourhood Development Plan Working Party

In 2021, the Parish Council established a Neighbourhood Plan Working Party to produce a revised NDP. The NPWP was responsible for data collation, consultation with residents and other stakeholders, disseminating information to residents, commissioning external reports and advice, and drafting and submission of the draft plan. The NPWP consists of all members of HPC, and additional volunteers from the community. You can find their Terms of Reference and Minutes of meetings.

Any NDP must be in line with both national and local (Harborough) plans and guidance. The NPWP used many documents when preparing the revised NDP, such as the National Planning Policy Framework and National Design Guide, the Harborough Local Plan and SHELA reports, as well as commissioned reports.
