EU Exit

Harborough District Council (HDC) is increasing its proactive communication and engagement with its communities and businesses in preparation for Britain's EU Exit on 31 October 2019.

While uncertainty remains around the EU Exit, how it will look and the impact it will have, HDC believes it still needs to be leading as an organisation in preparing its communities and businesses as best it can.

HDC does not have all the answers but it can prepare the district based on the information, knowledge and skills it has.

As well as writing to parish and town councils, HDC's Joint Chief Executive is also contacting businesses and community organisations to signpost them to where they can receive support in the coming weeks and months.

If anyone still has concerns or needs more tailored advice – they should get in touch with HDC and it will assist in every way it can.

HDC considers that it is really important that everyone pulls together to ensure the EU Exit transition goes as smoothly as it can for all in the Harborough District.
