This verge is being managed to improve biodiversity as part of the County Council/Parish Council verges biodiversity trial. It will be surveyed in 2021 by NatureSpot volunteers but we would welcome additional wildlife records from the community, whether plants, animals or fungi.

The information kiosk has been fitted with new shelving and looks very smart. The library is a popular feature in the village and the Parish Council is pleased that it is well used.

Healthcare professionals are being asked to come forward to help administer the Covid-19 vaccines in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
A number of new vaccination centres are being set up, and each one requires dozens of staff to administer the jabs.

Residents in Harborough District can now refer themselves, a family member that requires help, or someone in the community who needs help, during the Coronavirus crisis to the Council's Community Hub.
